The majority of these locations were visited on our year-long tour across the world, but they could easily be used for vacations or lengthy travel with the kids. All of these attractions are fantastic for families to visit!

Siem Reap is a terrific destination to visit with children, and Cambodians like children and go out of their way to make families feel at ease and safe. The most convenient way to travel to Cambodia with your family is through the airport. It is without a doubt one of the best nations to visit with your family!
South Africa
South Africa is one of the most beautiful places to visit with family in the world. From kid-friendly African safaris to city retreats in Cape Town, the country has a lot to offer. We spent more than three weeks in this country, and it is now one of our favorite places on the planet.

Vietnam
Vietnam is without a doubt one of the most family-friendly countries in the world. We took the kids to Vietnam for the first time in Southeast Asia, and we were blown away by how much the people and the tourist industry pander to children.
We spent four weeks traveling around Vietnam, with stops in Hoi An, Halong Bay, Hanoi, and Phu Quoc providing some of the best highlights. Everywhere in Vietnam is child-friendly. We felt protected and found traveling around the country to be extremely simple. Vietnam is one of the greatest places to visit with children, and you’ll have a great time here with your family. Vietnam would also be a fantastic destination for toddlers and newborns.
Croatia
Croatia is a fantastic family vacation destination. There are plenty of enjoyable activities for the kids to do, including beach days, swimming, hiking, and waterfall exploration. The ferries to the other islands and snorkeling in the pristine blue ocean are popular with the kids. Croatia is a fantastic destination to visit with children!
It is, in my opinion, one of the best European nations to visit with children since they enjoy the food, the sunshine, and how easy it is for them to have fun. Furthermore, the majority of individuals understand English, making it simple for North Americans to visit and feel at ease. Croatia is one of the greatest destinations to visit with family for all of these reasons.
Malta
We had no idea what to anticipate when we booked Malta to take our kids to, and we didn’t know anyone who had gone there with their kids. However, we had a fantastic time in Malta with our children and would strongly suggest it to other families.
With its unusual location between Europe and Africa, it offers fantastic weather, brilliant blue water, and a unique amount of history. Czech Republic
The Czech Republic is an excellent destination for families with children. We had a great time taking our children to Prague, and we believe it is one of the best cities to visit with children. In the heart of the city, there are numerous playgrounds and parks to visit with the kids. In the city, they have kid-friendly activities and exciting things to do.
The Czech Republic is also an excellent destination to visit with your family in conjunction with other nearby nations. To experience all of these fantastic family-friendly nations, we took a 10-day tour across the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Austria. The Czech Republic is one of the greatest nations for kids, with plenty of activities for all ages.
United Kingdom
If you’ve never visited Europe before, the United Kingdom is a good place to start for your first overseas family holiday. The best feature is that everything, including restaurants, signs, taxi drivers, and any other forms of communication, is in English.

Emirates of the United Arab Emirates
The United Arab Emirates might not have been on your radar, and it certainly wasn’t on ours. However, we discovered when arranging our trip that Dubai is a major hub for many planes, so why not make a layover there to see what it’s all about?
Dubai boasts a plethora of activities for children, far more than I had anticipated, and they welcome families visiting the nation. We also felt very secure and were impressed by how child-friendly everything was. A desert safari is also one of the top things to do in the UAE, which we highly recommend. Abu Dhabi is also a great place for kids and should be on your itinerary.
The Island of Jamaica
If your family is seeking for a carefree and easy beach resort, Jamaica is a terrific area to come with your children. There are numerous excellent all-inclusive resorts that provide excellent family options for lazy days by the pool and sandcastle building on the beach. Many resorts in Jamaica cater to families with children by providing children’s clubs and babysitter services.
In Jamacia, the ocean is breathtaking, and the beach is incredible. A fantastic family vacation in the Caribbean.
Australia
Australia is one of the best destinations to visit with children. What child wouldn’t want to see kangaroos, koala bears, and snorkel on the Great Barrier Reef? Because Australia is such a huge country, you are unlikely to see even a small fraction of it unless you plan to live there for a long time. As a result, you’ll have to decide which place you’d like to visit with your family.
For a one-month trip in Australia, we highly recommend the Sunshine Coast, Fraser Island, Sydney, and the Great Ocean Road. There is so much to see and do in Australia that it is a terrific place for families to visit and one of the world’s most child-friendly countries.
Hungary
Hungary is an excellent destination for families with children. Budapest is a delightful and easy city to visit with the kids, with attractions like as Fisherman’s Bastion, the Buda Hill Castle Funicular, and a Danube River cruise. To see the countryside and stop in different spots along the way, try taking rail rides across the country or renting a car.
Thailand
Thailand is a fantastic vacation spot for families. In Thailand, travelling with your children is extremely simple and safe. Because they get more tourism and international visitors than many other Southeast Asian countries, they excel at making travellers feel at ease.
Some of our recommendations include visiting the many wonderful temples in Bangkok and enjoying the beach life on Phuket Island.
New Zealand
To see both the North and South Islands, the ideal way to see New Zealand with your family is in a campervan or on a road trip. New Zealand’s islands have a wide variety of sights to view, making it ideal for outdoor-loving families.
There are still areas we haven’t seen after a month in New Zealand, so our advice is to try to see it all while also enjoying the places you do get to see with your family. Hobbiton, Lake Wanaka, and the Waitomo caves are some of New Zealand’s kid-friendly attractions.
Canada
Canada has a lot to offer, and depending on where you go, you’ll have a variety of experiences. From the mountains of British Columbia to the prairies, or from French life in Quebec to the Maritimes, there’s something for everyone. There are numerous places to visit, each of which is unique in its own way.
If you want to experience the snow and all the winter wonderlands, including Banff, Big White, and Whistler, Canada might be a terrific family trip.
Austria
A country with enough history and culture for children to genuinely understand what they learn in their educational textbooks. Take the family to the Opera or a beautiful palace in Vienna to give them a fresh experience.
Singapore
For families, Singapore can be an excellent gateway to Southeast Asia. It is a mash-up of the western and eastern worlds, as well as a smattering of other civilizations, allowing you to get a culture fix in one small country. Kids will adore sites like Universal Studios and waterparks, as well as the incredible variety of street cuisine that this country has to offer. Langkawi was where we chose to spend our “vacation” from traveling during our one-year journey around the world. It is one of the easiest nations to visit with children because the culture welcomes children of all ages, including newborns, toddlers, and little children.
France
France is a fantastic destination to visit with your children. I visited France frequently as a child and had no reservations about taking our children there. However, I would strongly advise either traveling across the countryside or seeing locations other than Paris’ central hub. We had a great weekend in Biarritz, where we got a taste of French culture and saw where the French travel on vacation. If you’re searching for a cultural change with some westernized elements, France is the greatest country to visit with kids. It’s also quite easy to go to with kids.
Indonesia
Families will enjoy their trip in Indonesia. This Southeast Asian country might be a cost-effective place to visit and spend a large period of time. Children enjoy visiting attractions in Bali such as the rice terraces and the Ubud Monkey Forest. Indonesia is one of the most kid-friendly countries in the world, and they adore having children visit.
Mexico
When children are young, Mexico is a terrific place to take them on an easy trip. There are beach holiday resorts for families with pools, beaches, wonderful dining, and kids clubs that are fun for everyone. So, if you’re seeking for a relaxing beach holiday, several sites in Mexico can accommodate you.
Mayan Riviera, Nuevo Vallarta, and Puerto Vallarta are all destinations we recommend. It’s the place to go if you want to have a nice first trip with your kids.
